Mills Builders is a Design and Build contractor located in Sacramento, California
Founded in 1999, Mills Builders has built 100’s of projects in Sacramento’s historic neighborhoods. In recent years, most of our projects have been delivered through an in-house, design/build process.
Our area of expertise lies in the design and construction/renovation of older homes as well as in-fill development work, typically Accessory Dwelling Units (ADU’s).
Jonathan Mills
I grew up in a small town outside of Dallas Texas and graduated with a B.A. from the University of Texas/Austin in 1992.
After some traveling, working in the fishing industry in Alaska, and building homes in Colorado, I settled in the S.F. Bay area with plans to attend architecture grad school. My foray into graduate school was brief but I spent a number of years, in the Bay Area, constructing complex and beautiful homes and honing my skills as a carpenter and project manager. In 1999, I relocated with my family to Sacramento and began Mills Builders Inc.
My involvement in residential construction begins with the initial design work and culminates with happy clients in solidly constructed homes. Through the entire process, my goal is to fulfill my promises to the homeowners that have chosen to entrust me with their homes.
